The Vancouver Cup will take place at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Campus and surrounding fields in Richmond, known for their top-tier quality. These well maintained fields promise a prime sporting experience, creating the setting for an exceptional and memorable tournament.
The Vancouver Cup will span three days and is open to elite level U14-U19 teams.
Event Details:
Date: June 29 – July 1, 2024
Location: Prime fields at University of British Columbia and within the City of Richmond
Parking: Parking. UBC Parking is a pay by plate system.
Thunderbird Parkade
Event parking is located in the Thunderbird Parkade. UBC Parking has move to a “pay by plate” system – note your plate and pay for parking at the pay machines after you’ve parked your car.

There is street parking along East Mall. The closest parkade is Thunderbird Parkade and is a 10 minute walk.
Age Divisions: U14 – U19 (Boys/Girls) – Brackets will be determined based on team overall ranking.
Competition Highlights:
Qualifier: Group winners from each age category earn a FREE entry into the Top Ranked US Thanksgiving Desert Super Cup in Arizona
Eligibility: Open to all Canada Soccer/Provincial Associations and US Soccer Members – USYS, US CLUB, AYSO & International FIFA Members.
Competition Levels: Teams compete in Top Tier, Mid Tier, and Lower Tier groups.
Tournament Schedule:
June 29 – Round Robin Play Begins (8 AM – 9:00 PM)
June 30 – Round Robin Play Continues (8 AM – 9:00 PM)
July 1 – Round Robin Play + Finals (8 AM – 3:00 PM)
Early Bird Deadline (Deadline April 12, 2024):
U14 – $1395 (inclusive of tax)
U15-19 – $1595 (inclusive of tax)
Regular Entry Fees (Final Deadline June 7, 2024):
U14 – $1595 (inclusive of tax)
U15-19 – $1795 (inclusive of tax)
Final application deadline is Friday June 7, 2024.
Acceptance and Notifications:
Notices will be sent out to teams within two weeks of submitting their applications on the acceptance into the Vancouver Cup.
Tournament Logistics:
– Onsite athletic trainers will be available at all facilities.
– Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games, playing into finals.
– Guest players are allowed within specified limits for different age groups.
Hotel requirements: This is a stay and play event for travel teams, ensuring compliance with the designated hotels to participate in the tournament.
